5 LSU Purple Cuts... Not even sure if one survives

Out of my 5 cuttings I bought I don't even think I'll be successful with one. I broke my successful cutting streak. Please let me know if anyone has Not even sure if one survives an airlayer or cuttings of LSU Purple for sale. I'm not sure how incredible the fig is in taste but I'm pretty upset and think most will die. I checked ebay but I don't think any plants are being sold by people on the Trusted Seller list. This is the list of all my successful trees I have. Should I continue to look for it ? Or does a tree on my list have a similar profile? Lsu purple is one of our favorite figs. Recently lsu gold is our favorite this year. Purple puts out more figs. They sell lsu purple were i live just about anywere. Its 27.00 to 30.00 dollers and they are preety big. 3 gallon pots. Thanks to everyone that have sent me PM's and incredibly generous offers!!! I have a trade in the works for one of my young plants. Thank you Rich ... Rick I'm very new and just currently experimenting. I like to document everything so will keep you posted on how the LSU Purple performs in my zone and in a pot. Anything that doesn't produce for me I will end up weeding out by trading . The forum members here are so generous I might keep some plants just to give away cuttings. I might agree about the pots. I have mine in a MASSIVE pot, and its given me plenty of figs, but they've been rather ho-hum. Of course, this year I may get none, as I tried my best to kill it...but you know. Word is with this plant that it has to reach a certain age/size to produce truly delicious figs. You can always buy an above ground swimming pool, put it on wheels, and fill it with dirt though! :-P __________________ In GA, Zone 7b/8a Wish list: more space to put in figs.
