Together with Lampeira Preta (all crops) this is one of the most popular fig varieties in the region.

More incentive for me to get a healthy wasp population established here. What a delicious looking fig! Thanks for sharing. What are your thoughts about the Inchario branco please, Francisco?

Inchário Preto is a super crunchy fig.. with a complex mix of tropical flavors and much sweet
Your area is tailored for these figs and one day you shall try and grow / taste some.. when?... only God knows!

Gary,
Believe your environment will be great for the pollinator and associated caprifig. It's well worth trying.
Inchário Branco is another fine Smyrna fig and I hope to show some soon.
I may say that in terms of flavors, IB is a true ' berry fig ' as well as  crunchy
