My first ever Negronne. Beautiful fig and delicious, with rich figgy flavor. Not as exotic as I'd imagined, but a sure keeper for me. Med sized fig. 8.5/10

Congats, very nice looking fig Frank. I am also looking forward to my 1st Negronne and VdB this year. Mine have different leaf shapes and the Negronne looks bigger than the VDB for now.

Thanks Pino & Vinny. Pino, I agree, mine has various leaf shapes too. I have VdB I'll try for the first time soon, so it will be interesting to see if they're the same.

Pino, Thats exactly what mine are like, the leaf shapes are different and Negronne makes slightly larger figs than VdB. But mine are only two years old so who knows what will happen in the years to come.

I have a negronne from bills figs that I grow in one of his pots. This is one of my favorites of all time. Rich figgy flavor and as dark as can be. Very reasonably priced these day and a terrific value.
Highly recommended
