Picked this one today and was totally disappointed! :( We have been having lots of rain, so it was watery and the taste was diluted. I have a bunch more so maybe, I can eat one during a dry spell : )

Usually the first fruit ,on a new fig,is like that,disappointing,but if Adriatic JH ,will not make good fruit in your climate,nothing else will.

Nice flesh colour! I'll bet the next ones will taste better. I notice the nice skin crack. Was the fig soft? My Salce has these similar skin cracks but it is still hard so I am leaving it for a few more days. Maybe it will drip some honey..LOL

Pino....The Fig probably could have used a few more days, but it was soft, but It could have been softer...: ) Herman...Thanks so much for the Info! I had read where it's an exceptional Fig.... :)
