This fig came from cuttings last year from a generous F4F member.  It was given to him as Verte and he didn't know anything else about it.  It grew very nicely for me and produced 4 brebas and has a couple of main crop figlets as well.
As I understand it Verte does not produce too many brebas but strawberry verte does.
This fig is definetley a breba producer.
The figs were among the best I have tasted.  extremely sweet and a definite rich strawberry jam flavour, seed crunch and chewy skin.
Comments and ideas welcome on whether this is a verte or strawberry verte.

Mmm, looks good, now I wonder which one I have, it's still small but I beleive I got the cuttings as strawberry verte, if I'm not mistaken.

It looks like the few SV breba I've had. Even the breba taste great IME. SV is not only very sweet but has a very rich flavor.

Thanks Ryan and Jerry hope yours turn out just as nice or better!  Looking forward to seeing photos of them.

Thanks Steve, I agree on the rich flavour.

Thanks Richie, the cuttings were cut fresh in October. I drove home an started them right away.  They were a nice large size and grew right away.  Wish all cuttings were that friendly.

Can't really speak as to if you have S.Verte or Verte in as I only have S.Verte.
S.Verte set a nice breba crop this year despite my heavy handed pruning. It
roots like a weed.Very undervalued fig IMO.

Thanks Paul! it definitely produces and tastes like a winner!

For me it would also be nice  for S. Verte to be cold hardy for z6 so I can try it in ground.

Hi Pino.
Congratulations, great looking fig. I wish I had room for one more, but I don't. Enjoy your fig you've waited all year for it.

I have two SV's I purchased as cuttings about 4 years ago from Jon at Encanto.  My SV's tend to be more round-shaped as opposed to long, as appears in your pic.  I won't say that you don't have a SV, but the figs are definately a different shape than what my (presumably) SV's produce.

Thanks Vito.  Hey there is always room for just 1 more delicious fig.

Thanks for that Figaro.  These photos are brebas.  The main crop seems to be rounder don't know if that explains it?

I got the fig as a verte but to me it looks much more like SV in looks and taste.  This is the first year producing so too early know for sure.

This last fig turned out to be the last breba of the season.  I had to pick a little early due to pending storm.

Still not sure whether it is a verte or strawberry verte.  Can't find photos of verte or s. verte brebas on the web.
Regardless the flavour of all these Sverte brebas was very sweet and outstanding.  Superb flavour a keeper for sure!
