Dave is a member here and he sells on eBay as willys-a-gas.  I won an auction for his "Ice Crystal" cuttings. The auction was for 4 cuttings but when I received the box and  it only had 2 cuttings in it. I contacted Dave to let him know I only received 2 cuttings.  He apologized and said he had been real busy and it had been crazy around his house. He said he would ship out the next day and include some extra cuttings. He asked me if I was a Member here and I stated I was....

The box of cuttings came today. Not only did I get the remainder of the “Ice Crystal” cuttings, but he also included Red Sicilian, Longue d'Aout,  Ronde De Bordeaux, J H Adractic, and some Croatian Fig Cuttings. There were several of each!
To say, I was delighted, would be a under statement!
Dave is a Member here, under the name of just “Dave”.
I am in no way connected to Dave, other than this Forum and buying from him on eBay. I just wanted to let everyone know, what a fine caliber of person Dave is.

Good stuff, Frank.  It's nice to hear about good experiences and good sellers.  Good luck with the cuttings.

Got to love free bonus cuttings :)

I also purchased cuttings from Dave.  I got Maltese falcolns, Violette de bordeaux, Ronde de bordeaux and blueberry.  All were healthy, clearly labeled with white paint and 3/3 maltese falcolns rooted. :)  The rest I got just 2-3 weeks ago so they need some more time to root.

Will definitely buy from again if I see he has something from my want list.

Hi Frankallen,
Free cuttings is always fun !
Just one question: you already know that Ice Crystal is a smyrna type ? The figs might drop in zone7 .
Mine are dropping for the second year. I might get 2 or 3 like last year ... Hopefully .

Yes, I knew it didn't produce maybe a few Figs, if any! Everyone is crazy over the leaves. Thanks for letting me know though. :  )

My guess is that bids for Dave's cuttings will climb higher here on out.
