It is a young plant rooted past Fall, in a 2 gal pot .
Looks good, hopefully will taste it, need to hide well from the critters.

Hi greenfig,
You guys kill me. It takes me generally 3 years to get figs out of a new fig tree.
Load the gun, critters may already be watching you :(.

3 years??? I can barely wait for one summer. The fig tree I s gone in the Fall if I do not see the fruit. The only one I was waiting for was a Kathleen's Black, and I am still not sure if it was a good decision since the squirrel stole the only prized fig this year :)
But that's how we do in the SoCal ! We are spoiled here...

Oh, it is the time to get a new round of ammunition, gotta go !
