Love the color of this fig, never seen one so deep purple. Super nice looking fig Frank, even though everyone showed them again, you never get enough photo reposts I guess. Really nice color, shape and size. Also it is nice to hear that it tastes good. I have a 5 foot tree and have not let it fruit because I was too busy doing air layers on it but next year it can fruit at will.

SR is a great fig here too. However, mine also froze to the ground the last two winters and thus only a handful of figs have ripened very late in the season. __________________ Steve MD zone 7a

A lot of people put emphasis on popular/exotic cultivars, which is great because it highlights some of the better fig varieties; however, I am most interested in the figs our members love regardless of pedigree.
