Well it is finally here.  The crew arrives tomorrow to put up my new greenhouse.  Here's a few picture of the site.  More to come.

Before ww.jpg
It was a bit over grown and stuff was hidden on it.
blk walnut.jpg  and this needed to go before it fell and took out the back yard.  They pulled it down right on my future greenhouse site.  I knew that was how it needed to be dropped since if it fell the way it leaned the good by fence and pool.

after ww.jpg
Looked better after days of brush cutting, weed wacking and raking.

stuff.jpg
All of the junk recovered from the property.  You can see the black walnut in the background
shed.jpg
Future storage shed.  Yes the walls are rotten all the way.  More on that later.

Hi Schaplin,
The more light hitting the greenhouse the better ... You may want to take some more trees down, or to reshape/resize them.
Keep us posted !

Update: One chain saw, assorted tools and two women later:
frame mostly rebuilt, 3 walls up, ant infested wood reduced to 3 foot scrap for burning, good wood restacked with spacers for better drying.  Will treat with borax to discourage ants.
They are on there way!

Didn't make it to the house.  Raining all night into morning.  More delays.

We finished at about 8pm.  Greenhouse building in the dark.  I feel like Indiana Jones.  I think even my eyelashes hurt.

Sharon, real nice green house! Nice piece of terraine. Lovely.

My dream is to have a little piece of land to grow fig trees (in ground), chickens, dogs, my cat, a small cabin with a fire place to cuddle with my husband & daughter...and a green house!!!

The day after the greenhouse build I woke up to this which I think is a pretty good statement as to how exhausted I was.
remote.jpg
Yes that is the TV remote in the phone charger.  What's worse it that I do not have a TV so the remote was carried from another part of the house.  I have no memory of any of this.
its up.jpg
There is still much until it is finished.  The gas line and power have not yet been run.  Floor needs leveling and then plastic and then stone to finish.  Benches still need to be built but it is a serious start.

Very nice looking greenhouse!  LOL on the remote. :P.  I did something like that one time when I was really tired, I put my remote in the freezer and left the ice-cream on the arm of the couch.
