Although this person wishes to remain anonymous I still want to express my gratitude. A forum member not only had a variety I had been searching everywhere for but generously gave me some beautiful cuttings - wouldn't even let me pay postage! Not only did I finally get to hold the cuttings of my dreams but some cuttings of 2 other very sought-after varieties were added to the package as a surprise. I am very amazed at the generosity and very, very grateful.

There is a lot  of good people working just to have other members love figs as much as they do.
But  allways  get surprised by their generosity without interest.
God bless them all for their kindness.

Been there done that.Happy for your experience....feels good doesn't it. Got my Xmas care package  this week as well. So happy to have discovered this forum. Great advice and great members.

I figure the only way to do it justice is to pay it forward when I have things to offer as well.

Yes there are many generous people in this forum.

I am looking forward to the day that my plants are big enough that I can take cuttings to also share.  Unfortunately my plants are still too small.

Recently a fellow Canadian asked me if I would sell him some cuttings.  He was looking for Violette d' Bordeaux and I felt bad that I couldn't do that (either give or sell) because my plant is less than a year old.

I too received some unexpected cuttings in a package from a member this week and it made my Christmas. This forum has enriched my life in ways that are beyond words. Thanks to all who have blessed me including those who share their lives and experiences.  :)
