Im way late on posting these videos, this is from over 1 month ago. Hope they inspire some of you. This has been a vision of mine for a couple years now and this is just the start. Feel free to ask any questions.

I'm kind of doing the same thing in East Austin. Without irrigation it has been a struggle. What spacing are you using for your fig trees?

Thanks for the video. I planted mine around 8 foot apart. I have 36 figs in my field. I ran out of room. So maybe i can add more trees in between all my trees.

12 ft row spacing and 8 ft between trees. Gonna keep everything pruned for easy picking. This is at my family property in Bryan, TX. I live in the woodlands.

Excellent job my friend!  I noticed you said you planted 8 feet apart within the row but it seems you planted closer than that in the raised beds.  Is that the case or is it an optical illusion?
