Breba from Unknown FINALLY. ID Please?

Sorry for my absence. Been very busy! A few years ago I took cuttings from an unknown on county property in San Diego County. Finally, it produced figs last year around October, so of course, nothing ripened. You all thought it is a Caprifig for sure. This spring the tree has become very large and is loaded with both Breba and the start of main crop figs. I noticed one hanging, very soft, and turning purplish brown, so I picked it. JD and I split it. VERY sweet! Very juicy. Skin ultra thin. I suspected the "insipid" Brown Turkey, but this fig is really quite good for a Breba! Yesterday I noticed a VDB all ripe and pretty, thought I'd wait till it got a little more ripe, and by 5 PM it was GONE! I decided not to wait to give you guys a chance at ID for my unknown. I picked one that was very soft, but not yet showing color. Even picked early, it's very sweet and juicy. I wouldn't say it's rich. Just sweet. Almost refreshing. What do you think? The interior of the first one was much darker. This one looks pithy, but it's not. So very juicy! I love the thin skin! It's a dream fig! And on it's leaf. Speaking of leaves, I detect no FMV on this tree. Some leaves look ratty but that's because of our high winds. This fig is a little deformed cuz it was squished between a couple branches. They all have long necks and an elongated shape Here is the entire tree. As you can see it is in the wrong place. It grew out of it's container and has happily rooted itself under our house. I have never seen a fig wasp here yet. I do have both Zidi and Port Capri, and the shape of both is similar, but my Verte also has the long neck and similar shape. Zidi & Capri both have figs, but nothing looks near ripe yet. Next time my Unknown gets a ripe fig, I'll wait till it shows color and put up a new photo. This unknown sure tastes good. There are many figs in San Diego county so it could just be a seedling. They do have the wasp down there. I live on a private road in county property and properties are 2-10 acres apart all flanked by miles of wilderness. I've never even seen a fig up here, other than mine. Even in town, I've counted a total of 3 trees and they are probably from a Big Box store. I guess the mystery lives on. Suzi __________________ Zone 9b, Southern California. pino, you may have nailed it! The first one that I didn't take a photo of was turning brownish violet, and the interior was darker. I looked it up in Jon's list and the leaf and shape are the same. It refers you to Archipel, which could also be it. Thanks for the ID! Jon's description says it thrives in coastal climates and to avoid extreme heat, which we have and this one is thriving here. EXCEPT, it only gets morning sun, so I may have to consider that when finding a new location for it. I've got some pine groves, and it could go near those so it will benefit from their shade. It is a very aggressive grower. I LOVE this fig! On a hot dry day here, it is so refreshingly light, sweet and juicy! Thank you pino! __________________ Zone 9b, Southern California. There is no such thing a a wrong place for a fig tree.
