Update, I started taking cuttings today and also got photos of leaves.. photo 1 (1).JPG  photo 2 (2).JPG  photo 3.JPG 

So I'm a fig stalker and I know it.... so i haven't been keeping my eye out and have a few trees I have been watching. I had decided to wait till the tree were in fig so i'd have a chance to see what kind they are when I talked to the owner...
There was this nice really large one by and old barn and all of a sudden signs went up announcing a new development was going in where is farm was. I decided to contact the developer and he was very nice gave me the green light to take what I wanted from the tree....
I figured I'd give it a shot and offer cuttings to anyone that wanted to pay postage...
All I really know is it is unprotected and big.... might be a chance to try your rooting skills on a non rare tree.

Update talked to the land owner today, they are working to get the squatters out and not to worry i will be able to get to the tree, turns out he is a fig lover and says I can take as much as I want once it is safe..

Was out at the farm getting cuttings and noticed the family had two other fig trees! They were exactly the same kind of leaf so they must really have liked this kind. Cuttings will  be going out in the next couple of days..

Greetings, I went out this morning and was able to get more cuttings, the red brick building is gone and the tree nearly destroyed, all three trees look to be the same with one being much older. I grabbed clippings from all of them. I will be sending them out sometime next week.... the Unk Red Barn fig is dead Long Live the Unk Red Barn fig!!!
I also took more pictures as my phone was dying and will post them later

The ones your sending me now are from a different tree then the RBF ? ..correct
BTW all the cuttings have roots on them in the bin just waiting a little longer before potting them up.

Thanks Gloria! My cuttings arrived yesterday. Already have one in a pot on its side, there was a green bud at the bottom of the cutting, so on the side it went.
