On Dec 19, 2010, I started cuttings I had received as part of a trade. These were supposed to have been Golden Celeste cuttings. Today I noticed that one of the fruit has started to ripen. Here is what I got: |

Wow! I thought Golden Celeste had a golden exterior color? Well, Ruben, maybe it's a .......Rainbow Celeste? I can stop laughing now, but it is hard.

There are at least 3 strains of Golden Celeste in the retail trade......and that is not one of them. |

wouldn't be so bad except that I already have 10 plants/trees (and growing!). Looks like it will be the first to ripen fruit tho. lol |

Maybe only one celeste twig got mixed up in the golden celeste bundle.... |

Sorry but I am still laughing! Well, it happened to me 5 years ago and guess what I did? I was so happy when I got my trees that I planted them in the ground. Two years later, they fruited and turned out to be all 3 Celeste. Ya gota laugh at it! AND LEARN.
