It is part of the Petals from the Past at Jamison, AL. Located behind the nursery beside the Grape and Apple orchard. There are about 60-65 in ground trees/bushes. Most of those trees are 15-25 yrs old. |

JD, Yes, the younger/new leaves on the O'Rourkes were five-lobed and the mature leaves were three-lobed. |

The left leaf is from JR, the center one is from LSU the one on the far right is IC_not Or is my lying eyes playing tricks on me again?

Very impressive orchard. I wonder if hoop houses might work well to protect in-ground fig trees up north. They've become quite popular here for winter gardening and season extension. They also look easy enough to build: |

I didn't think those wing-looking thingies near the stem end were actually lobes. Every time I think I understand something, I find I don't. They are like spurs rather than lobes, or so I thought. |
