Hello All, Wondering if I am the only person who is not sure how to pronounce most of the fig names. I know all the names from which came from USA, but some of these others, phew. With all the names, it would take weeks to look up, and then you might not find many. Is there anyone who can help with this.

italian and spanish names are easy.. you say it like it's written. i can't for life of me know how to say those french words.. not the four letter kind. anything outside of that.. it's all greek to me.

If you really want to know, join this site:

http://www.forvo.com/

You can add words and a native speaker will say them and you can play the audio file.  I put Ronde de Bordeaux  (rhond duh board-oh) and Negronne (negrohnnnn) up there and will post the audio files when I get them.  If there's a specific other one you want, let me know.  I took French in HS so I know an approximation of some of it  :)
