I like this for a change up fig. Not real sweet, very creamy melon taste, very little crunch and the skin is thick but not tough. About a 7 at this point but gonna get better, I hope.

Mike,

Curious Is the Paridiso  you recently posted from this same source?  I have one from him labeled Paradiso Nero, and I wondered if that was it you posted. The  whole thread on different figs labeled Paradiso recently really makes me wonder if every old Italian family was required by law to name a fig as such after the old story.  I still list mine as Triano Calabrese Mario , guess I should update my records as well.
