We don't have the true East Coast foliage in Los Angeles but the fig foliage is just as beautiful! My figs are finally decided to go dormant after the last night frost warning (the frost didn't show up but the figs got the message!).

Well, Armando, we, Losangelinos, are gentle creatures, cannot tolerate the 27f in our backyards. That would mean extinction!

I do not know, actually. I got it as an Afghan fig. It has very ornamental leaves on a smaller side, a slow growing plant with thin stems.

How about the size of it?
That leaf was the largest on the 2 ft tall tree.

Yeap, Luke, your Ice Crystal leaves are much larger.
Thanks for posting a photo!

I have a different Afghan fig with almost one lobe highly serrated  leaves but they are also on a smaller side.
I don't have its photo and it is dormant now, sorry.

Nice, Igor.  We had ice 3/4" thick form by this morning after 10 hours below freezing for the nite.  Got to a balmy 47 this afternoon, maybe you would have enjoyed that.  Some fig leaves are just now getting the message.

Soni, from what I have read it does make a very nice fig but it needs a long hot growing season to ripen.
