Two cuttings about 6-7 inches long. I found this fig recommended for TX on a Texas A&M website. It produced a lot of figs but none ever ripened and all dropped. Maybe the tree needs to be older to ripen figs. Worth the experiment to someone especially when free. Hey, if you are new to figs this might be a good way to practice starting cuttings. PM me of interested. I'll pay postage. US only.

Thanks Armando. Just trying to pay it forward. Many of the members here have been extremely giving and kind to me to get me started. Now it is time for me to start giving back.

Yes, a very generous group, I am now starting to have success with cuttings. So will probably start up again in a few weeks. (those darn gnats did me in)...LOL that's my excuse...LOL
