As I have already written about, I lost all my cuttings I started indoors over the winter. But I had a few leftovers so I started them outdoors the end of April in pots. About 75% of these are growing. Well, I just noticed that my VdB was poking roots out the bottom so I pulled it out and look at this: |

Really nice! If you had them in air pruning pots, you wouldn't have the circling. Just a gazillion more roots! That stuff seems to work magic! |

Gene Do you mix that with water or just shake some on top and then water it? I recently purchased some micorrhiza but haven't used it yet. Mine is like a brown powder but I can't figure out whether to just add it to regularly watering or not. Thanks! |

There are different kinds, some is water soluble, some is not. The one in the picture is not. I sprinkle it into the new potting soil as I place the rootball in. It needs to be in the root zone to work |

Ok thanks! I think the one I have is water soluble. I'm going to mix it this week and try it out for sure! |
