There are quite a few locals sell figs with you pickup-yourself, the prices are $1-$3 /lb.
Here is some black ones that I fancy with yoghurt mixed with Cocoa-Puffs :)
Sweet, soft, juicy, and crunchy!  Hmmm...

For those of us who have one to two figs to try this year, that's just plain mean! LOL. They look delicious!

Yeah, that is the beauty picking yourself! You only pick the clean and ripe. The trees are usually large enough that this is not an issue. I forgot to say sorry to those in the Far North and Down Under, it is totally unfair to you :D

Is it sad I want to move to zone 10 just to be able to grow such an abundance of fruits/veggies?
