At the beginning of the season, this 4" Preto was transferred to a 5 gallon SWC. I figured it would start growing immediately, just like my other trees but it just began turning black and dieing. I put if off to the side of the deck, mostly being lazy and just letting it rot. I would check every so often and look at the cutting under the soil for any new roots but it was stale. |

Good for you! I have a few semi-dead sticks on my patio that I still haven't gotten myself to part with. Maybe I'll get lucky some day to and one of them will push out leaves. |

Hi Frank, some thing happened to me. I thought some of my trees were dead, but they came back. Sometimes you just have to be patient and take a step back and let mother nature do its work. I'll have to post my pictures sometime. |
