Nice. As a matter of fact, just bid on Khurtmani a couple of days ago on eBay, but I was outbid by somebody who wanted it more I did.

Nice Photo, very interesting variety.

Otmani;
I never found a person on EBay that wanted the fig more than me, they just had more money.

Lol...Same here. For this specific variety, I was not sure whether I wanted it that bad, so, I decided to put the brakes on and set a reasonable limit that somebody could easily beat, and sure enough, I was outbid.

Afriadoni,
Thanks for sharing photos and info.

According to the Varieties database... http://figs4fun.com/Varieties.html
The Khurtmani (meaning the owner of the bow or nose), Daniel says, is considered by some to be the best fig grown in Israel. It is probably the fig we call Brunswick. The synonyms for it in Israel are Mwazi (the name given by the villagers of Judea) and Esely which means honey. It is a big tree. Moderately fruitful. (001f)
Could you please post pictures of mature leaves and ripe figs? Thanks.

I was always troubled by that description in the data base, Pete. My leaves look more like Afriadoni's and the fruit is nothing like my Brunswick. My source for the Khurtmani was Bass. It is a great tasting fig, though.

Bigbadbill,
I've grown several different Brunswick/Magnolia cultivars and the Juvenile leaves are always similar to those in Afriadoni's picture. I've never had figs from any of these trees, so I have not been able to compare them.
Could you please post some picture of mature leaves and figs? Thanks.

Here is a current topic with some links to a Brunswick type figs, http://figs4funforum.websitetoolbox.com/post?id=7033014 the mature leaves and figs are all similar.
