Most, not all of the figs are slightly deformed. These are my first figs. Netting works good for the day creatures but not so good for the night creatures so I’ve been bringing this one in at night until it ripens.

I have no idea, I hope RL growers will chime in. I did notice some pics from Jon that have a similar circular deformity

I have 2 trees I haven't gotten a fig yet hopefully next year, how beautiful the 2 figs are in your second picture

The "deformity" seems to be a case of a second fig growing out of the eye of the first fig. I have seen is occasionally in other figs. If memory serves me, the first time I saw it was in Yellow Neeches. In Raspberry Latte, it seems to manifest itself as a funny line more or less halfway down from the stem as seen in the second pix above. Doesn't seem to affect the fruit, other than making is larger, possibly. Not all fruit are that way, but it is more than an oddity in Raspberry Latte.
