JC, don't you have any school assignment to do?
At 13, your priority should be school work and not be consumed by fig posts.

Come on JC, who are you? on Figs 180 you posted this as your birthday and age: September 05,2000 (14 years)

On jc_figs you posted: August 21,2001 (13 years)

What's up? I believe in "born again" but not so soon.

Whatever, but Dennis answered your thread and called you by name when you first registered and then all of a sudden your name disappeared just like the age 14 changed to 18 right after I confronted you. Do not use the members of this Forum. Be straight forward and you will earn friends.

Ruuting,

I think it is Danny's delight but would have to look.  You can see the new greenhouse going up behind it.  There are several of the first year figs that are that size but not quite that many fruit.

Hi,
With a small cutting, a growth of 30 to 50 centimeters the first year is already a good thing.

Well JC, as long as  you are upfront about everything, I am glad  you are on the forum.

As for first year's growth, I didn't take any pics at the end of the growing season. But below is one of root growth at mid-summer on a Battalia Green cuttings:

By the end of season this one was about 24 in tall with 3 or 4 branches

Hey JC. I'm just now noticing this thread. Welcome to the forum.

Glad to see a younger person interested in cultivating figs. I've been trying to get my 9 yr old to adopt one of my trees as his own. It's a work in progress ;).

Keep posting. Don't worry about some negativity that you might experience. People are just cautious and suspicious - unfortunately, it's often for good reason.

That's great JC.

Maybe you could share some pictures of your fig trees and their progress sometime? If you're anything like most young folks today, I know you don't have a problem handling tech.

We all enjoy seeing pics of what others are growing.

Saxonfig JC is not going to post any pictures so don't hold your breath.  I don't think JC has any figs or even a garden.  JC is a troll and is enjoying playing mind games with everyone who thinks he/she is serious about this hobby. I am here to "Out" JC the fraudster.
