Hey, does anyone know whether the "Puglia" fig in the F4F database requires pollination? If anyone is growing it, can you tell me a bit about its habits and overall flavor? |

Best Apulian fig is the Rigato del Salento variegated. |

Thanks! It's beautiful. The info I've been able to find says it's similar in appearance to panache and produces a breba, whereas panache never does. That one? |

That fig is only in Italy unfortunately. No one I know of has it in North America. Unless you make a friend overseas who will send you cuttings. Unfortunately, I have no answer to this problem, and so, the item will remain on my wishlist for the foreseeable future. My advice: go on holiday to Puglia and bring back your own cuttings, if you dare. |
