Home Dept also has them out here in Ca. for $6.89 but they look like TC figs. I have some and they have the same growth pattern. I fought hard with myself not to buy one though, haha. |

These are grown from cuttings. Let's see what comes out of it! That's how I got my CH last year. Produced a few figs and turned out to be the real thing! |

My walmarts carry TC plants. Magnolia, brown turkey, "ischia" (green ischia) this year. Last year they had some black missions too. They're most likely "Agristarts" products distributed through Dewar nurseries. Always tempted, but I haven't done it...Something fishy about buying them from walmart. |

come on Brett you can do it lol.I got an LSU purple with a fig on it last year and it is correct to variety. I have had more luck with Walmart than the other two when it comes to the right variety (HD and Lowes)! |

Aetna type was my thought also. The young leaf with the long middle finger looks a lot like the HC I grow. The only distinct difference is color. The HC has a redish hue and is a lighter green in comparison. It is also full of little fig embrios ready to pop up. Thanks Dan. |

Chris, Is there a Nursery name from where the trees came from. I ended up purchasing two trees from Lowes this srping. One was labelled celeste and another Brown Turkey. I couldn't resist picking them up since I recognized these trees were atleast 2 years old. The leaves on the BT does not look like one. I will post pictures and the name of the nursery. I know it came from a nursery in Florida, but can't remember the name. It would be nice to see if they all came from similar source for south east store supply. |

Sure is but I can't remember it now. I will take a couple of pics and post when I get home. I bought a BT from HD that ended up being a Celeste and a Celeste that ended up being a Brunswick. Go figure! Very nice trees that produced the first year nevertheless ! Best of luck with your trees. |

Brunswick and Magnolia are the same fig. Those are not Brunswick. But I do think they are hardy chicago like others have already stated. |

Thanks Dennis. I really hope it is Hardy Chicago. I will take a ride there this weekend and if they still have them I'll pick up another one ! Very healthy plant and the roots looked amazing when I repotted it. |

Here are a couple of photos of the tags on the tree with the nursery info. (Sorry for the late response Mohan, it's been a crazy couple of days) . The little tree is doing great by the way. Looks like it grew a couple of inches since Saturday ! |

Chris, thanks for the pictures. Here is a couple of pictures of the tree that was labelled Brown Turkey that I purchased from Lowes. The leaves look so different from the BT that I already have. The second set of pictures are of plant that was labelled Celeste. The plant is pushing out a couple of figlets on this years growth. Don't know what they will turn out to be. |

Nice little trees Mohan. The first one ,99.9 % Brunswick (could be Paradiso or Dalmatie but i find it highly unlikely)and the one with the figlets, pretty sure not a Celeste, possibly a Chicago Hardy but could be something else. Nice trees regardless. I love my Brunswicks .I have three and will probably make more rhis year! |

Thanks Chris. Let us see what they turn out to be. I was sure I was looking at a Magnolia/Brunswick. Wasn't sure about the second one though. Well, they are happy healthy plants and let us see how they turnout. |
