Good Evening:

It’s that time of year again where I need to trim the trees and send out cuttings for beginners wanting to build a collection.

Here is the list that I will send out this week.  These are my own personal photos and I ask that they are not copied.

I'm asking $30 plus $5 shipping.  Private message me if interested for Paypal info.  When they are spoken for, I will post it as so.

Please include your shipping address in the private message.  You must be in the US.

Peter’s Honey
Florea
Hardy Chicago
St. Rita
Osborn Prolific E.L.
Violette de Bordeuax
Sal's Gene strain
146-36 (Emerald Strawberry)

When possible I try to supply 2 cuttings although.  Each cutting should have at least three nodes.

I make no claims that my figs are FMV free.  I haven't had one yet (except my Maltese Beauty) that doesn't show signs of it in some way shape or form.

Upon reciept I recommend re-cleaning the cuttings and separating the varieties into their own bag with moist moss.

Thanks for your contribution and good luck rooting these.  It’s a good assortment that should give you a lot of pleasure growing and tasting.

I’m including 2 extra varieties.  They will be surprises and will be more unique varieties.

If all goes well I will do this again next week.

Thanks

You can store them for quite some time in moist moss if you keep them cool

Very generous of you! Sadly I have most of the varieties already, but let me know if you have extra peters honey cuttings left over.

That's a good deal.  The VDB I received earlier this year is growing as a nice healthy plant with some figs already.  I look forward to trying it next year :D

I got in on this last year as well (and may get in on the 2nd batch...my collection is still small!).  Good cuttings, great price.  Those less common varieties he's referring to could very well be gems.  Trust me on that!

Thanks dfoster25 for this fantastic package of cuttings! Great looking and well organized packaging. This will jump start my collection perfectly. I hope to do the same in the future for forum members when my trees are ready for pruning. The extra varieties you included was very kind of you. Thank you for taking the time to do this... Chad

Here is the list:

Kadota
Mary Lane
Hollier
Mare de Deu
Atreano Gold
Conadria
Marseilles VS Black
Figo Branca
Petite Negra

When possible I try to supply 2 cuttings although this wasn't possible on a few varieties.  Each cutting should have at least three nodes.  I would like to note that I do not want to ship to California or Outside of the Continental US.

I make no claims that my figs are FMV free.  I haven't had one yet (except my Maltese Beauty) that doesn't show signs of it in some way shape or form.

Mine came in yesterday. As I am incredibly new to this, I didn't expect the cuttings to be so thick and as long as they are. I feel like a kid in a candy store. Thanks.

Looking good so far. I haven't seen roots in the cups yet but buds are swelling.

Hey Dan the your cuttings are doing well in Iowa so far 100% success. They are soaking up some sun as it snows outside. Both packs went into damp sphagnum moss and just put the last cuttings into cups today. About 50 trees in cups total so far. As soon as they had roots showing in the cup I removed them from tote humidity as long as there was no budding out. Totally hardened to low humidity now by doing that. Couple leafed out and then showed roots in the cup so I slowly acclimated to low humidity. Thanks to the great info this forum provided I had good results. Now just keep up on the watering until spring. The quality of your cuttings are great Dan. Thanks again..

Hi, Chad: Hey your cuttings look great!  I'm wondering two things; 1) how long have you been growing them and 2) where did you get your grow light?  I need to buy a grow light.  Any info is appreciated!

Thanks,
Meg
