Clouds and rain, which has been unusual this year. It shouldn't be so gray for this long this far into December. 
It's very likely that most of the beautiful photos you see of Miami were taken during the late fall-winter/spring, otherwise it's just pretty much either super gloomy and/or just too hot to go outside. 

I mean, let me not complain like I'm gonna freeze to death in 15 minutes if I accidentally lock my keys in my car, but still.
