Portogallo is Portugal in Italian.

The photo looks similar to a fig in Italy called;

 "fico lungo del portogallo" also called Melanzana Calabrese.

On this forum a very similar looking fig is called Melanzana MM or Lounge d' Aout.

By whatever name it is a great fig.

I'm growing several Lungo del Portugallo figs here.  They are a dark fig when ripe, and incredibly delicious.  I only got a few ripe ones the first year, and I had to share :(  So I airlayered it like crazy after the last ripe fig was done. How good were they??  Good enough to make first time tasters into fig fanatics....

Lounge d'Out is not as dark, I had one but it died, so can't comment on the taste.

I found one for sale in Netherlands (hi! Rob)

Pino,
I do not think it is Longue D'Aout , because like Thaifig said, the fruit is dark

Lungo del Portugallo is supposed to be the same fig as Melanzana Calabrese.

But it is so hard to tell without growing them side by side.
Colour is also dependent on the amount of sunlight and heat.  So if one plant has more shade then it may be lighter.  Also LdA is supposed to ripen a couple of week earlier than Melanzana.

Frankly I can't be sure.
My Melanzana looks just like these photos and it is a superb tasting fig.  I am trying to get all 3 figs and grow them side by side.

This was mine, but not yet 100% ripe. This picture was taken in early September, so it is a late season fig.
