I'm always interested in varieties that produce a nice breba crop, and thought I'd share a few photos. Last year, RdB, Lampeira, Rob's Genovese Nero, and Desert King gave excellent brebas. Looking forward this year to also get some from Grise de St. Jean and Albacor Communa, and a few others. A few pics from today. Albacor Communa Lampeira Grise de St. Jean Ronde de Bordeaux

joann1536 Registered: 1409975734 Posts: 274	1456982952 All of the ones I started a year ago are still in pots in my backyard. I also have a Peter's Honey that's about 4 years old. All of them here in the SF Bay Area have now broken bud and are leafing out. As Gary had said, I began to notice it a couple of weeks ago. The Peter's Honey has lots of brebas. The Atreanos were the first of the year-old ones to start leafing out. Most of the trees are now seeing spring #2, and I was really surprised to see the brebas forming on them this year.
