Whoever paid 400+ is out of their f'n mind and don't know what they are doing.

I don't care how big a tree is, a cutting will get you a lot further, money and satisfaction wise.

The funny part of it all, this fig has no history. Sure everyone wants the lastest. Could be when you finally get to taste this fig, it might end up being low on the list for taste.
