I have a jolly fig. I know it grows slow but the leaves keep burn off. I keep the tree in the garage and it's usually the 70s says 75 right now since it's not hot but normally been watering it every eight days or so. Can someone please help for maintenance to keep it alive.
Should the plant be indoor with special lighting hours? Help please thank you

I purchased this Jolly Tiger Fig about 2 weeks ago. I can't wait til I can taste the Fruit. I hope this plant will do well (some white leaves burned away). I will take any advice on how to properly care/mantain a healthy plant since I am not used to varigated plants. Thank you guys/gals!

Are fig trees from India the same ones around in US? My grand parents have a tree in India and I was just wondering. The tree had very sweet fruit.

Yes I'm new to figs. Im from texas! My grand parents have a tree. They were fresh and tasted great!  I don't have anything to offer except self pollinating almond tree ( had for 1.5 year alond tend to burn in Texas heat), jasmine plant, curry leaf plant. I just purchased a Celeste but I know it's a common tree only paid $11 including shipping. But I will stick around as I'm still learnIng more about fig. I even tried to clone one my cousin owns but that failed. So had to buy that one!
