I brought a LSU Gold at home. BIG SMILES.

LSU Gold's leaves look not so beautiful but it has more than 45 figs with it thus I choosed it. Hunt is with no any figs.

I can have TWO 6 ft LSU Gold trees if I make a cuttings on it :)

I wish to buy one from Wellspring, not Floridahill. I'm spending extra effort to save this small fig tree. Its two leaves were burn when I received it, and it got worse under only morning sun.

Frank, this old lady wanted me to play and choose the best one. She would not tell me which is better.

The_Celt, I will keep an eye on hunt.

Luke, Good idea to taste figs first.

Thanks!

Frank ,

Putting it in garage in winter. Containerized. Climate zone is 6B. Yes. trees are bearing some fruit for now but not sure trees' exact ages. Just know all are 5 ft high.

Thank Pete and C.H. for good suggestions:)

All trees are at bearing age about 2 years and in pot but their mother trees are all in ground. I'm in Southern Maryland.

Put it under decking and let it enjoy 4-hour morning sun and get cool afternoon. Hope it works.

It is just 4-5 inch high. It is under morning sun and under a chair avoid afternoon sun but its some leaves still got burn.  I cannot put it into my house it has AC.

P.S. it is potted in bottle as container on decking.

How?

Pete, you are smart! He said what you said. :)  He just said he was piss off that one fish ate roots. He saved two of four and enjoyed new way to root in the same concept.

It is Xinjiang Fig tree. It has the best taste in all fig trees in China. For the first picture, it was one year old.

I've got a smidge bit of a Blackberry thing going on too......

You are lucky. From the same nursery, your one is bigger than mine. Mine is less than 6 inch.. Long way to grow and get figs.

No. They imported this fig tree from Japan and called this fig "Japanese Fig". Finally they found this fig tree was originally from France but it is too late to change this name.

Just checked it online.. It looks very like "Top Tropicals", not common figs. Thus, I donot need to seek for its seeds. I will try to get branches of Xinjiang Fig which is said as the best fig in China. But I need you help ID it if it is the same as any figs in US. I do not want to waste time.
