Mike, I will compare tomorrow. I have two large KB trees. Also looks like Maltese Falcon.

It's not a Brown Turkey. I've ripened about a dozen this year. More similar to Kathleen Black.

Glad you liked it Bill. My trees are really prolific. They always are loaded with figs and give good breba.
I got rid of a few of my white figs because they couldn't compete.

Vito, Sounds like your wife is as cool as you are! It's funny what she said. Sounds just like my wife.

Sorry I missed you guys at the fest.

A friend sent me a few cuttings of Aaron's Sultani over the winter. The plant is very clean and is a great grower. I have three trees that are going into the trash. All three dropped their figs. Needs the wasp.

Hi Vito,
I think you already have GN. If not let me know. You should grow this one in Florida.

Rafael & Steve,
Your plants should grow fast. They like large containers.

One of the best breba that you will ever taste. Doesn't compare to the main, but is still awesome. GN has that deep berry taste and always filled with that nectar/honey. The weight of the largest was 77 grams.
As far as breba go, this one gets a 10.

It's a reliable producer. The figs that I thought were most similar are Lyndhurst White & Troiano Calabrese.
Though similar, they aren't the same. I'm still calling it Mittica Unk.

Rafael,  I think as my tree gets older I will have better results. Last year I started heating my greenhouse this time of year. I didn't let it get below 50 degrees at night. I don't think I'm going to do that this year. I'm not desperate for figs this year. I've picked well over 1000 figs this year:)
I will set my thermostat at 40 pretty soon. For the figs that I'm going to over winter in it.

Calvin, I just put it in the greenhouse today. It's supposed to get in the mid 30's this weekend. We'll see if any more ripen. I've probably eaten 50 Figo Preto this year and they were started at the same time as BM. They both were started early in the greenhouse this year.

My tree is loaded with figs, but this will probably be the only ripe fig I get from it.
It was good but not the best fig I tasted this year.
