I couldn't find a topic on this. Sorry if I'm wastispace on a new topic/thread.

With that being said!
I hope more people can use this to ask the same questions!
Just bid and won on some " Maltese falcon" cuttings. Seller had a 97. something rating with a 11 out of 301 negative. I hope it's legit.
So and I hope this is okay, to see if anyone has purchased and or has any info ( and please lets not just bash someone) on the seller good or not. Thanks

I tied one about 2 years ago. Tried figs, grapes, strawberries, a few other things. The only issue I had (probably operator error) was that the figs and others would almost rot before roots exploded. Not everything but alot. I want to try again with some newer technology. Love hearing others experiences

I have done some trading with a few members, otherwise on a personal note me and my ex wife started having problems and tried to work on things, then we have a son that was in the mix, my father sold the family company and just life was going on. I was also growing all the cuttings I had into what would of been beautiful trees producing good cuttings now. But now I have my son full time. We are settled and able to start rebuilding or home again. He loves (6 yrs) getting out there and helping me.
One of the blueberry bushes I had ( that was destroyed) I bought with him and planted it when he was first born. I wish I still had it.

I spoke to a lawyer he said it would cost more than I would get back. When the thieves broke into the building they drove a vehicle though my garden and destroyed it only because it was in the way. I was going through my divorce at the time also amd My ex wasn't making things any easier for my son and I. I had to walk away to save my sanity! Could of, would of, should of

I was renting a 15 acre farm with a barn. It had a well and everything thing I needed. It was a friend's property that I helped ( money and time) remodel and clean up after it had been vandalized. 4 months in to living there he goes through a divorce and tells me I have 2 weeks to move out. I didn't agree so he had me evicted and in the county I lived in for non-payment ( gave cash was a friend ) they boot you out in 4 days. In the process of trying to move the house was ransacked ( most of that stuff was gone) but my barn had 2 generators and several tools etc..($5-8k) stolen and or destroyed in the process they drove vehicles through my garden containg all my fruit plants dragging behind what they could!

Hello fig friends! So my story is I had heard a lot of good things about the Smith variety and asked about it here on the forum. A generous member was kind enough to send me some cuttings and of course I lost them do to in experience. I also lost a few other varieties ( 2 rare) ;( but learned a lot through trial and error. So I would like to purchase a Smith tree if anyone has this variety available if so just pm me. With that being said I did have some luck. My first year and I had about a 40% success rate. Thankfully for me several generous members shared enough cuttings with me so I was able to have a wonderful winter growing figs in the basement. I really look forward to this year of eating fresh figs. And of course the thrill of trying to justify to my wife why I need to obtain more varieties. Fun

Tom, I bought a few 143-36 cuttings off ebay and they looked good upon arrival. But some how I managed to kill all of them. I will try and get more next year and root them in the moss. I had bought a cloning setup off eBay and stupidly I put all of my cuttings in it instead of trying different methods and just like that they all died. We live and learn. Wish I could say the same for cuttings. Thanks for sharing your video.

I would also like to have a grape vineyard, and blueberry orchard. Gonna need myself a big piece of land.
