Hi Jon,

I have a black mission that I grew from a cutting from an old tree in Buena Park, the tree is absolutely beautiful large and lush with full coverage of leaves, the problem is that I have yet to get a good fig off of it, there are hundred of fruit on it, and then just turn brownish and soft and are dry inside. So just wondering if you have any thought on it?

Thanks, jeffrey

Another question is with my Black Mission, which is planted about 30 feet from the Raspberry Latte,. I have grown that tree from a cutting and after,6 years I have yet to get a ripe fig off of it, last year there were maybe 50 fruit on it and none of them ripened, they turned yellow/brown, and when soft were dry inside, this year there were 48 figs set in early spring, they all aborted and now there is a new set going that are still small.

Again any thoughts about this is appreciated and thanks

Yeah I'm in CA, Orange County, maybe that's what's going on, rooting in, so hopefully next year will be better, I'll try pinching too.

Thanks, J

Thanks for you reply, however the tree is planted in my front yard in Full Sun, and is watered very well, I could see that young Fig could be aborted because of lack of energy, but no fruit at all?

thanks again

I have a question about why my Raspberry Latte Fig has not set any fruit this year, last year I got 6 Fig and I chalked it up to it being a young tree, so I thought that this year would be better, however not one fruit has formed, any reason?

by the way it is the best Figs I have ever tasted

thanks
