Mine does not have red eye at first but does well before it ripens, I would say like half way through its growing stage. Im not sure what mine is... have posted a separate topic trying to figure it out and this topic was pointed out to me. I am a little confused still at what this eye means?

I think ill go with 4 or 5 dollars for a bag. It wont be exactly a pound because I have no way to measure that out... instead itll be over. I have one I could go to this evening but I don't know if im going to be able to pick them before this evening. hubby works and has the ladder :( oh well guess Ill just go with the flow. thanks for all the advise everyone!!

I posted earlier asking what type of figs I have, I have a huge tree, but I am interested In taking them to the farmers market to sell. I eat them right off the tree but there is way to many on my huge tree for just me. How much would you charge for lets say a quart bag or a gallon bag?

Thanks, and I think they'd be considered small, the fig I'm holding in my hand is one of the smaller ones but they don't get much bigger
