Subject: Figs under the house for winter Replies: 3

I store beets and carrots under our modular in the winter and they don't freeze.  I have the same kind of set up as you mentioned your house has.  Also overwintered some reduced stock gooseberries I got late in the season last year--too late to transplant so stuck them under the house.  I planted them in the spring and they are doing great.  The plan for my figs is to overwinter them under the house.

Yeah, this one is definitely on my list for cuttings this year.  Seems like everyone has nothing but good things to say about it.
