Hello fellow fig appreciators!
I live in an apartment building with a fig tree which has been there for years but dont know what type it is.
The figs seem to always be on the tree all year round, dont know when it is ready to eat and strange it is always fruiting.
I checked http://www.raysfigs.com/id-figs.html and it seems to be a
5-lobed, lobes spatulate--Calimyrna (G)
But didnt really understand what type or mainly, where to get further information.

The tree is located in Melbourne, Australia. I would like to know so i can work out whether and when i can eat some delicious figs!
Regards, Liz
