If I am ever lucky enough to harvest so many figs that I would use them as a lip balm or hair conditioner, I would be a lucky man.

Sas - Let me know how the harvest is at the Matt Family Orchard. I got their e-mail recently that said they had figs to pick, but I was not sure what would be left. Last year when I went there was really nothing worth picking. I might take the family this weekend.

I barely picked two pounds of figs and to be honest not impressed. It's the end of season for figs in your area. Most of what they had left were unripe or getting spoiled and gone by 8 AM.
But the Jujubes are excellent and now is the time to pick. I wouldn't go past Saturday on the Jujubes as people were getting most of the lower branches.

Thanks for the update. That was my exact experience with the figs last year. I did pick a large bucket of Jujubes, but I was the only one in the family that ate them. We do have a few on the Jujubes that I planted last year.
