I hope there's still one spot available.
Long drive, but sounds like the trip of a lifetime for this lonely figster.
I'll bring the photo equipment.
Lebmark, you know what I'm bringing for you.

I'll be returning home from a week-long family vacation (a working vacation, helping my father-in-law cut and split 6 cords of firewood in northern Idaho, his only source of heat) just a few days before this get-together, so I'll be loaded up with chores upon my return. I'll be there in spirit. :)

C.J., thank you for the offer. I'm cutting across at the GWB, I'll be on 95 all the way to the Bronx.
Besides, I'm gonna have a lot of plants in the back of my car :)
If anybody who won't be able to attend wants me to keep an eye out for specific varieties, let me know, I'll bring a list with me.
Bass, I promise I'll leave my pruners at home.

OK, who is bringing what? I have a few Gino's if anyone is looking to trade. Should we all bring a plant or cuttings etc. to do a raffle with like in the past? If so let everyone know because someone may be unaware of this tradition.

For me the raffle is the best part and the most fun. I'll be bringing some extra trees and try to take a few cuttings. Could we do name tags again ?

We should all be bringing in fig plants or cuttings for the raffle. Everyone will have a chance to pick. we can do name tags again. There's a chance for showers on Sunday, I hope it won't rain until we're done.

I'm on my way! Holed up in a cheap motel 6 but only 4 hours from Flemington. Tomorrow I pack up more orchids and supplies then go over to Bill's, dinner with friends. Saturday load up and head to friends house and Sunday I head to fig gathering. So ready to do something fun this weekend.

I'm bringing some Celeste and Black Mission (don't have anything exotic yet to trade since I'm a newbie) trees in one gallon pots (about 2 ft tall) and some vegetable seedlings since I have too many and I hate to throw them out (heirloom tomatoes, cucumbers, and bell peppers)

I had hoped to participate in the raffle .... just for the fun of it. I mailed Bass a caprifig tree on Tuesday to go into the raffle just in case any of you dedicated folks were up for trying that. Unfortunately, as is the case in a maybe 2% of the time, my package took a long way there by first going to SoCal and is now in no man's land. Maybe if one of you folks gong there live nearby are interested in it, you can grab a rain check for it and pick it up later.

Many many thanks to Bass for hosting this fig gathering, and it was a great pleasure to meet all the folks and forum members at the gathering! Btw if anyone took away an "unknown white-Queens" 1-gal from the raffle I would love to hear the progress of my former cutting.
Best regards
