I've been AWOL from the forum for more than a year, though my passion for figs has not diminished. I didn't root any new cuttings last year, but now seems like a good time to reacquaint myself with the labor of rooting figs. These six are at the top of my alpha-order list: Kathleen's Black (Trade pending) Longue d' Aout (Have!) Madeleine Des Deux Saisons (Angelique, Early Lemon) Maltese Falcon Ronde de Bordeaux Pastiliere Smith (so I can't count...) I've got several for trade should anybody wish to do so.

My wish list has changed a little since last year, but I'm afraid I haven't really been all that good this year. Never the less, here it is, Santa. Malta Black Maltese Falcon Tacoma Violette Sicilian Black JH Adriatic Ronde de Bordeux I had a couple of cuttings of RDB and JH Ariatic last year and they rooted well but I killed them with a poor choice of rooting medium (thus, "not very good this year".) But Santa, I promise to do better this year!!!

Hi Ed,
Not sure really. I was at a friends Christmas party and his parents were there, of course the fig topic came up. They came over from Greece years ago with cuttings and planted them in a town in North Jersey named Dumont. Well, they retired and moved without taking any cuttings. So I'm on a mission to get them a couple of fig trees for them to enjoy. The only thing they told me was they had a black and a white fig tree.
As for the belleclare fig, I would like to start a collection from them and at this point I don't have any. So, looking for one.

Newbie here to the forum... Lifetime Fig lover.
I have several varieties, including LSU Purple, Black Mission, Brown Turkey, 2-varieties that my neighbor brought back from from his homeplace in Italy, and one from a tree that my family had since before I was born. I was always told it was a golden celeste, but it looks like an Italian white/Lemon, based on the pulp color. I'd like a couple more varieties that do well in the Atlanta area, but I'm not set on any particular ones. If you have any suggestions, please let me know.
