@PostureDoc: next time take pics of the figs outside and inside for you may harvest them 3 days too soon.
 Try this: next time, when you think: ok it is the day to harvest ... Wait 3 days more. And see if that makes a differences.
I harvested already 6 brebas from my Dalmatie, and have more waiting with 6 that looked fine yesterday. I 'll go test/fetch them tomorrow and no sooner ...
They are soft to the touch, but I need to wait for flecks to appear on the outside for the flesh to be perfect ...
Harvesting a fig even one day too soon is a drama for its taste - especially since I eat them the same day ( ok... the same minute sometimes too).
I'll open my own post on Dalmatie soon ... Just lazy at the moment ...
