When I first started down this Fig Road I heard this mans name often in our neck of the woods. Since I'm getting serious about adding varieties to my collection I have found his website and looked at what he has to offer. Very impressive I must say.

However the website has not been updated since 2013 and Emails I have sent have not been responded to.

I was wondering if anyone in this fig community has any information about this that they could share.

Thx in advance for any help.

Regards,
Steve

@ Figfanatic57....Thx for responding. I have all that contact info as well from his website. Trust me I would love to visit and see his collection and learn whatever I could. However I am getting no response from repeated emails, so I don't want to waste my time on a phone call unless I hear that the site is still active and Adriano is still doing this. Like I said the site was last updated in 2013. I just want to know what is going on and hoped someone here would have up to date information.

Adriano is still around but is very very busy. He doesn't have time to answer all the emails and calls he gets. Figs are his hobby and not his business. I guess thats why he answers when he feels like it.

I have visited Adriano's house twice in the last month. He said the first time that I was very very lucky that he responded to my email...I guess I am lucky.

I guess timing is everything. I did get a couple plants from him a RDB and A Marceilles Black.

I don't know how much help this was.

Thx again for the responses and the PM's. I guess I can understand he is a busy man with lots of demands on his time.

I just wish it was as easy up here north of the border to deal with fig stuff as it seems to be south  of the border.

Planning a road trip and a chat session in the spring.

I agree. We dont have any where close to the varieties as in the states. It is so hard/expensive to get them from the states(Phytosanitary certificate).
