Now is ~ mid July 2013 (extremly hot and humid here!) ...
Today, I noticed that trees/shrubs @ my local Home Depot store, are currently all 50% off.
I bought a couple of nice Japanese Maples @ ~ $22 each (yeah; I love  them JMs too!).
Also saw some large "Black Mission" figs and another variety(?), just labeled as "Fig", both for ~ $30 ea. (after discount) ...

if it's real thing, good size Black Mission at $30 isn't bad.. and you don't have to pay shipping :) too bad our HD doesn't carry figs..

Our local HD, offers poor quality plants. Lowe's has the best quality plants. Was there two days ago at their JM section, no sale or reduced priced on their JMs. They have two rather large Shishigashira plants, that I been watching for a while to see if they go on sale. Not yet.
