I just wanted to share my great experience with an ebay seller and fellow member on this site that goes by the screen name "justfigs" (Giacomo Calabrese).
I made my very first purchase via Ebay auction a few weeks back when I purchased CDDN cuttings from this member.. I had no idea what to expect or how the process works at all.. Soooo naturally I asked LOTS of questions.. Lol, and I do mean lots.. And Giacomo answered each one quite patiently and even went into detail for me making suggestions for how I might be most successful in rooting the cuttings.. Anyway he shipped those beauties out to me right away and they arrived in beautiful shape with at least 8 or more nodes on each of the nice sized cuttings :) I'm happy to report that after trying the horizontal method in a sterilite container, I've got what appears to be several baby CDDN sprouts beginning to root & leaf out (pic below)! If I can just manage to keep them alive to the spring is another matter now.. Lol!

I was so happy with the purchase that I've been doing all kinds of bidding on his items over the last 2 weeks, as he has so many varieties that I would love to add to my collection :) Last night I won some Ventura cuttings on one of his auctions, and had the good fortune of also scooping up a second chance offer for JH Adriatic cuttings as well afterwards.. Giacomo was kind enough not only to allow me to combine shipping on the items, but said he would also throw in a couple free cuttings that he had extra of. Sweet.. Things like this mean something to me.. I just wanted to share that experience with everyone and to say "thank you Giacomo!"

I love this forum by the way.. I am so grateful to have you all to turn to whether its for questions I may have or just "sharing the passion" that we have in common :)

Bought some of my very first cuttings from him and in my newbness mold killed most of them.  One survivor over winter was Sal's Corleone, ripening figs now.  I picked the first one too soon and it was bland.  Wait and they are delicious.
