Does anyone know if there are any fig gatherings or tastings or events in Florida? I would love to attend these types of events but don't want to fly out of state for it.

Their should be, it's a big state we are in.  maybe FMD in the Tallahasee region can answer the question.

We have some serious collectors in the central Florida area. Depending on which summer month, I would be able to bring other fruit such as jaboticaba, annonas, jackfruit, longan, sapodilla, carambola, passion fruit, top tier mango cultivars, etc.

That is awesome. If there isn't a Florida fig festival there definitely should be!
