I bought 3 of these from him earlier this year and all bareroot dormant. They appear to be what he says they are "Lemon" but I'm not going to swear on it until we get some fruit, probably next year.

Yes, the lemon comment appears to be in reference to its color

When I asked him he said they were "Lemon" figs. They are in the varitals page. Photos of the Lemon fig seem to match the pics of his fruit as well.

I went to this guy's garden and bought one last year. He only has two fig varieties, but grow a lot of vegetable and some exotic plants.
