Hi fig friends.
Have allways heard that breba comes out of last year's old wood. The question that has been bugging me is; if, I pinch new growth, it forces theose branches to bear fruit this year. Hince those should be next year's breba but, they are on this year's new growth.
Those figs are they  supposed to be breba or main crop?
Thank you all for the answers. I know for sure that someone here as the answer.
Best wishes with figs to you all.

Rio, you pinch after 4 or 5 sets of leaves have formed on new growth. So, the figs that are produced are coming on this years wood, hence they are main crop. Brebas emerge from last years hardened wood.

The same wood produces main crop one yr and breba the next. Having the main crop this yr isn't stealing breba from next yr. The breba form late in the prior yr on the same wood that's carrying main crop. But they aren't noticeable until late winter or spring.

Good question:
In my opinion from observation, the first fruit that appears ,at the node where you pinched off, grow like a persistent breba in shape, possible sex of inside flowers.
The following fruits that will grow latter up the new branch are mule, on a common fig that does not need pollination.

Of course this observations are only for self fruitful ,common fig trees, grown outside of fig wasp area.
Mule fruits grow ripe without need of pollination.
If the persistent breba had a chance to be pollinated,it will grow viable seeds,if not it will get ripe anyway, and it will have a different shape usually more elongated and larger than the mule fruits..

One more note:Fig tree is very diverse in mode of life .fruiting etc,and nobody really figured it out completely.

Thank you Herman2.
They are common type (Brown Turkey). And funny it's the first time I ear the word mule sticking to a fig.
Learn tons of things on this nice place.
Best wishes.
